Although I ended up in the classroom, I took the scenic route. After graduating from high school, I attended Hampton University. After graduating from Hampton, I worked in corporate America while finishing grad school. I joined a girl group, did some background vocals for a few artists, met some nice shady people, signed a bad contract & did everything I could not to teach. My efforts to avoid the classroom failed miserably. Fast forward 23 years & counting, I'm doing what I love! I'm also the co-host of a show titled Christian Chat. The recommendation to start a podcast came from my cousin, Kenyana. I thought about it for a while but I never really had the time to focus on it. Better yet, I didn't make the time. The recommendation to start a podcast came from my cousin, Kenyana. I thought about it for a while but I never really had the time to focus on it. Better yet, I didn't make the time. When I finally decided to make it happen, I reached out to my cousin, Brad and put all my other cousins on alert. Kenyana and DaBorn jumped in for several chats as did many of my cousins. However, as more topics started coming to me, I realized that I needed to expand my guest circle. I know a lot of people who have a lot of knowledge in various areas. Since I only want to share information on this platform that is authentic, I reach out to people outside of my blood circle in order to guarantee that every topic addressed has an experienced speaker attached. But make no mistake, everyone on CUZ'N CHAT PODCAST is family...listeners too!

Brad and I are first cousins who spent a lot of time together as kids. Our fathers - brothers, bandmates & best friends with roots in Beaufort, SC, are the reason we spent many summers at our grandmother's house. During those times, cousin bonds & great memories were created. We didn't realize it then, but a lot of character development

Our fathers - brothers, bandmates & best friends with roots in Beaufort, SC, are the reason we spent many summers at our grandmother's house. During those times, cousin bonds & great memories were created. We didn't realize it then, but a lot of character development was taking place as well. We value family and our family has always valued education. We started this podcast together because Brad was kind enough to jump on board. However, he is an entrepreneur and I knew the day would come when he would have to back away. I thank God for my cousin and everything he contributed to CUZ'N CHAT from its inception. He helped my vision come to fruition and for that I will forever be grateful!
